Layered

When you live in Norway, it's important to be a master of layering, especially when you are into fashion. It is no secret that winter outfits can be quite a bit boring, therefore I like to mix patterns, colors and materials to make an interesting look. This outfit consists of three different patterns, but all in the same scale of coloring. With a hint of red, the outfit looks complete.

This outfit basically consists of wool. I have these amazing, wide wool pants from By Malene Birger which are perfect for this season. Since they are wide, you can even put on some wool tights underneath to stay extra warm. To make the outfit a tad bit more interesting, I decided to wear my H&M x Erdem coat with a checked pattern. Also in wool by the way haha..

When it came to accessories, I wanted it to be simple yet interesting. I threw on some simple boots with a twist; a silver heel, a cute silk scarf and a red beanie to make the outfit pop. Lastly I grabbed my trusty old & Other Stories bag, that fits with almost all of my outfits. Accessories really is the key to stay stylish during the winter, because it does not only add certain elements to your attire but also, it is the only way sometimes to make big, warm winter clothing more interesting.
